ThunderStudy AI Formula Story Mode is a free tool that turns any formula into a story, analogy or memory trick, and it needs no account. These answers cover cost, subjects, story styles, daily and weekly limits, the free library and saving stories. It is built by Wondermayank, a solo student developer, who answers questions by email.
Is ThunderStudy AI really free?
Yes. Formula Story Mode is completely free, with no card and no hidden catch. Only a fair-use limit of 5 AI stories a day and 15 a week applies.
What is Formula Story Mode?
It is an AI tool that converts any scientific formula or concept into a memorable story, real-life analogy or memory trick, so you remember it far better than by rote memorisation.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Enter a topic or formula and generate a story. There are no sign-up walls, and your saved stories are kept on your own device.
Which subjects does it support?
Any subject, including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Economics, Accountancy or even historical facts. Type your topic and the AI adapts its explanation style.
What is the difference between Story Mode, Real-Life Analogy and Memory Trick?
Story Mode wraps the formula in an immersive story, Real-Life Analogy compares it to something from everyday life, and Memory Trick gives you a short hook to recall it. Each comes with a step-by-step breakdown.
How many stories can I generate?
Up to 5 AI stories a day and 15 a week. The limit keeps the tool free for every student.
What is the free formula library?
A set of ready-made formula stories for PCMB Class 11 and 12, JEE, NEET, SSC, NTA and Banking subjects. They are free to read and use none of your daily generations, so check the library before you generate.
Can I save or copy a story?
Yes. Use Save as PDF to download a formatted PDF, Copy Text to copy it, or Regenerate to get a fresh version.
Where are my saved stories stored?
In your own browser, on your device. Clearing your browser data will also clear your saved stories, and you can remove them yourself with Clear all.
Are the AI-generated stories always correct?
Not always. The stories are written by an AI, so double-check important formulas and facts against your textbook or official exam material, especially before an exam.
